Employability Coordinator

Employability coordinators are the key link between our beneficiaries and the opportunities of the Spanish labor market, taking social integration into new levels.

What you’ll do

  • Building relationships with local businesses who would provide employment opportunities to our beneficiaries, and understanding where collaborations can be fostered
  • Maintaining and updating our beneficiaries database
  • Responding to completed refugee and business Google Forms and organizing appropriate follow-up actions
  • Providing support and assistance in the creation of CVs and interview preparation
  • Maintaining relevant contact with other teams in MFR to identify where and how resources can be combined/shared

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in human resources is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience or knowledge of NGOs functioning is highly desirable.
  • An already existing network of potential employers is greatly appreciated.
  • Proactivity and creativity to find the right partners Madrid for Refugees needs for its mission.
  • Good knowledge of English and Spanish.
  • Commit at least 3 hours of volunteer work per week.
  • Able to commit to the role.
