One Short is a free documentary filmmaking course that will run for six weeks starting in October at the MFR office. The course will meet twice a week with dates and times of the classes as determined by the beneficiaries availability. The classes will be taught in English. Priority will be given to anyone who is a refugee, asylum seeker, stateless, and a migrant in need of international protection and anyone who is at risk of social exclusion. The course will be led by Bahia Bencheikh El Fegoun, an Algerian geologist, filmmaker, and PhD candidate redefining documentary art. Apply now
